"Last seasonal collection" didn't mean I was going to stop designing dresses

It meant I no longer want to design them just because the calendar says it's time.


It's incredibly easy to get caught up in the fashion industry's rhythm:
Spring collection.
Summer collection.
Autumn collection.
Holiday collection.


And even when you don't have a strong enough idea, you still feel like you have to launch something.


Because that's what everyone does.


After eleven years of building UNDRESS, I want to give myself permission to create only when I actually have something to say.


There will absolutely be new pieces this autumn.
Maybe a coat.
Maybe a few new silhouettes.
Maybe just one dress I've been dying to make.


But I don't want to trap myself into building a full collection simply because another season has arrived.


Of course, you can't ignore business realities.
I still pay close attention to when our customers buy, what they're looking for, how cash flow moves through the business, and what we can produce responsibly.

But I also want to leave room for instinct.
Even though I need products that pay the bills, I also need space to create something simply because it's beautiful, technically challenging, and reminds me why I fell in love with designing in the first place.
